Sustainability plays an important role when it comes to the “true, beautiful and good” (alluding to the dedication on the building’s frieze “dem Wahren, Schönen, Guten”). A claim, which Alte Oper Frankfurt not only fulfills by way of a guiding principle but is also prepared to tackle head on as a modern events venue. According to the environmental guidelines, which were adopted by the building as a member of the Ökoprofit programme (ecological project for integrated environmental technology) by the city of Frankfurt, the sustainable and considerate use of energy, water and other natural resources is a significant part of corporate responsibility.
